Even though this is my own game I won't give it perfect ratings, otherwise I wont know how to improve when or if I make Sonic 4. I think I should work on the special stages first of all, when I put on the full version I may completely change the special stages. But still, this is much better than Sonic 1 and 2.

It's good to play, it has a save file so I don' have to remember passwords or restart the game. I like the character select because I can play as Shadow. The music is good. I like dinosaur island because I get chased by a dinosaur. I like the special stages. because I get to collect chaos emeralds

This game is awesome. I can't find any better ones. It has a mirror on Zone 5. Great game and with a save too.

I have played all three of the games you have created (Sonic, Sonic 2, Sonic 3) and this is the best of them.

It's nice that you have used INI's which is a great help and also that you can choose your character.

Graphics - 80%
Very nice, well, Sonic and Shadow are. I don't like the Tails sprites as they are a completely different style to the other two and very small. Nice authentic Sonic backgrounds and level sprites.

Sound/Music - 90%
Sweet. Nice authentic Sonic sounds.

Gameplay - 50%
Not very good due to the TGF Platform Engine. Needs looking in to. There are many "Static" Engine Tutorials on the Internet.

Overall - 70%
I like the way you have made powere ups, character select and the way everything goes. Just the TGF engine lets it down unfortunately. Keep up the vastly improving work.

Improvements: You desperately need to learn how to make a Static engine if you wish to continue making Sonic games. The ordinary TGF Platform Engine is too buggy and it really ruins the game because I think this is quite good, well put together and coded.

It's not the greatest game ever, but it's a lot better then Sonic 1 and 2 (by Jimmy not the offical ones) Which shows vast improvment and that's the main thing that counts. Bring on the static!

How old are the people that make these games? 3? Sorry to be such a grumpy git but seriously, this is poor quality. The game feels far too rushed to be enjoyable, the voice effects are horrendous- I can't even make out what some things are supposed to say. The whole game feels cheap. If you had take time to correct the flaws on, well, every level then you may have a decent game going here.

GRAPHICS-
Some levels looked just about enough to kill me, whats up with the blank areas in Green Hi...sorry Dinosaur Island.
Why have you have you used Tails' Sonic 2 sprites when every other character used original sprites?
Stages like "world of the unknown" used TERRIBLE sprites, no originality what-so-ever.

SOUND/ MUSIC-
Those God-awful midis kill my ears. I'm sure theres a way to import MP3 files into TGF so why didn't you? Some of the music didn't suit the stages, what the hell is the Pokemon music doing there?

GAMEPLAY-
Better than some fan games but it's pretty distorted...Jumping underneath objects gets you stuck inside them, you can jump through the barriers at either end of the stage and just walk...The charge dash does NOTHING, Sonic and Shadow are IDENTICAL, you could have given Shadow chaos powers or something.

STAGES-
How short? I could complete thsi agme in little more than an hour, if that. The stage intros are incredibly poor and theres no stage exit either. Completing the game unlocks you...the credits, which are pretty dam short and only credit the sprites. What baout the midis? The voices?
Also in some stages why does it have "Sonic/Shadow/Tails" when they talk?

In all this is a pretty below average game, if the creator is under 10 then thats unstandable. I mean NO OFFENCE by this review it is simply my opinion. I have given the score I feel it deserves and i would like to tell the creator to put more effort in next time, most DECENT fan games can take upto 5 years to make, this feels like it was done in a week, if that. Next time spend FAR MORE TIME tweeking things and making a perfect fan game as opposed to this garbage.
