To be honest, ever since Joe was half-way through the project I began doubting the quality of the game. I thought "it's TGF... graphics might be old... sound might be out of sync... the whole thing's gonna look childish... and Joe has this thing with zombie horde games". I was demoralised, you know, but I never let Joe know this ;), 'cause it would've caught'm too, no doubt about that.
May I say that, in the moment I saw the title screen, I told myself "Adrian, mate, you're in for a special treat" ;). And it really was. It really was a special treat. So what if it's not 3D? So what if it's not the greatest in graphics? The hell with those, 'cause by the end of the game... I was as moved as my character's brains were, eventually.
Combining breath-taking cutscenes with - believe it or not - adrenaline pumping levels in which you're either shooting at zombies through the window of a car or driving a motorcycle like mad and running bad critters all over the place, this game, despite its "dusty" look, is a TGF goodie. It's got atmosphere, it's got a decent play-through storyline, and may I say the music is quite ravishing, if you're the type of guy that sees beyond a game.
And my personal opinion is that the ending is very touchy.
Nicely done, Joe! You once told me you wanted to quit TGFing. Let me tell you one thing: don't! ;)
As a post scriptum to this, the score I gave Joe's game is, I hope, accurate, to what he can do. Sorry if I screwed things up, mate ;). Oh, almost forgot: you can't possibly know how it is to blow your own brains out, in a game :).

Tuesday review
Date: Sunday, September 25, 2005 at 00:08:28
From: run ed run
ok the game was very exciting but an ammo system in the gun fights and gunfire sounds would of added much more atmosphere, the zombies could not walk they looked as if there sliding but other then that i still give it 10 / 10
Well, I think this game is one of the best on M2k, if not the best. I can't believe the ending! :'( The story is pretty cool and so is everything else about this game.
-> 88% GRAPHICS: I thought that all the vehicles that you used were all very good. But I think that some things just weren't good enough to meet the rest of the game. The bullets for example. Still very good.
-> 85% SOUND/MUSIC: The background music and the samples are all great. The music is exceptional and is perfect for the type of game that Tuesday is. But, as 'run ed run' says above, samples for the guns could have been implemented.
-> 90% GAMEPLAY: I thoroughly enjoyed playing the game and If the gameplay wasn't up to scratch then I probably wouldn't have carried on with the adventure. Excellent. Allthough, I think it might have been better to create your own engine for the motobike level instead of using the TGF's own. You would then have to accelerate by yourself or something.
-> 88% OVERALL: All in all it was a very good game and I will be looking forward to the next game that Joe might make. This is a good example of what TGF can do as he uses different engines and also some of his own. But I think with a couple of imrovements, as mentioned above, then this could have been a much higher percentage. :D

Thanks for your reviews everyone! I'm really glad all my hard work paid off ;)
Just a few points to make. Some people have asked about implementing sound effects for the guns. Originally, this was included, but it lead to sound issues in which the music in the background was cut out.
Finally, the sliding zombies were intentional. On the game "Silent Hill 4: The Room", the zombies hover about an inch off the ground and float towards you. I though it was really creepy so tried to recreate the effect. I don't think it worked :P
I played Tuesday for the first Time today, and with any new game I didn't know what to expect.
When I heard Joe was making a game, I thought that perhaps it might be a little out-dated with all the new technologies that are about today with TGF and MMF games, with Joe can't be "arsed" with. But I was wrong, ok - So it is oldschool style, but damn it's adictive! fun, and quite freaky. I am John The Face, and have part in the Game, I die. Which makes it all the more fun for me knowing the characters.
The Graphics are poor in some places, but the interactive gameplay and interesting music in the back, it does have the atmosphere I think Joe was trying to achieve.
Well done Joe. This is a great improvement from Murder.
The thing about the ranking, on Graphics, Sound and Gameplay, is that here none of them score of 80% from me, but my overall is 95% - this is because if there was a story percentage, it would get 100% all the way - No wait - make that 98% I die. Remember?

Terrible Game

Awful, the game blows, it's boring, it's just doing the same thing over and over.
I feel embarrased to use TGF when I play this game.

An incredibly constructive review above by Me's Brother, who is obviously too cowardly to reveal his secret identity.
We can put the score down to either two things:
1.) He is upset that he got perma banned from the forum as absolutely no one likes him, so he seeks revenge by giving games low scores.
2.) He is jealous.
Now, let's take a look at point number 1, which is most likey the case. This makes him a particularly pathetic individual, as it shows that due to a lack of a life, he feels the need to STILL hang around this website (despite being banned) making sly comments.
I highly suggest, Me's Brother, that you grasp your individuality by both hands. You are obviously aware that you are a pathetic human being, therefore reference yourself to your brother in your name, as he is most probably far superior to you. You leech off your brothers celebrity status on our forum, much like Jack Osbourne to Kelly. Get a life and a proper identity.
Finally, as a perma-banned member, it raises the question as to whether or not his review should be submitted. Not only is it clearly malicious and overly harsh, he lost the privelidges to be a member of our forum a while back by our own administrator, thus losing the right to contribute. It is for this reason, Martin, that I request the above review to be removed.

How am I too cowardly to reveal my identity.
I went by Me's Brother on the forums, jack ass
Why cannot I state my opinion? People give my games low scores, because I take to long to release them, just make demos, and actually put time into them.

Me's Brother isn't your identity jackass, it's your nickname.

That case still stands.
"1.) He is upset that he got perma banned from the forum as absolutely no one likes him, so he seeks revenge by giving games low scores."
As does that.
Also, it's pretty obvious it's a purposefully spiteful review as you gave everything a zero, including music, despite EVERY scene in the entire game containing some kind of music.
Besides, why do you still hang round here? No one likes you, thats why you were banned. Get a life, jeez.
