INVASION OF THE POKEMON: ATLANTIS LEVELS V1.0 (Turn on Word Wrap now) ----------------------------------------------------------------------- This 6-level set has scenes from Atlantis that I decided to use. They are a general "water world", a cave, the continent, an underwater fortress, and a new battle with Pikachu. It also includes a bonus level - can you find it? ----------------------------------------------------------------------- HINTS ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Welcome to the Water World: A new addition in this game: you can shoot in the water! The cacti can be destroyed with Plasma Shots. Yes, those two next to the gun count - kill them immediately for a safer exit. When you get near Kingler, wait for a shot, then go where you need to go before he shoots again. For the green key, wait in the little "hallway" and shoot from a safe distance. The Caves: Practice holding down two keys at once to swim diagonally. For instance, near the red key area, hold up and right to swim up, and down and right to swim down. This tactic will get you through the diagonal areas much faster and may help in dodging the bouncing balls. Of the three ball rooms, the second one is the easiest to pass. The third is the hardest. The Continent: You'll need to go up a little higher than the starting level for the first key. Also, look in seemingly empty places - things may have appeared there since you shot a switch. By the way, the Atlantians have protected their own cacti from Plasma attacks, so you still need to watch out for them. The Underwater Fortress: Cloyster doesn't shoot, but he has a few annoying bouncing balls guarding the fortress. Be patient and dogde the two guarding the red and blue doors. After you remove the blocks from under the red door, you can come back through the opening to reach the blur door. Pikachu's Cavern: Pikachu's decided to give you a little more freedom this time. He'll only shoot when YOU want him to! This may be a bad thing, however, since he'll shoot at the exact same time you do! Be sure you're on opposite sides of the area when you shoot, and be ready to jump. Bonus Level: Pick a Path: Touch the switch to choose your challenge! CANNONS: Very tricky. Swim slowly when going horizontally, and faster when vertically. On the return trip, wait for no lights before heading out. BOUNCING BALLS: You are safe in the middle area with the yellow key, protected by the invisible ball barriers. CACTI: Easy one. Swim slowly and focus on passing each cactus separately. CRUSHERS: Be careful on the return trip. Don't bump into them from the bottom while they are on the ground. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- SECRET LEVEL HINT ----------------------------------------------------------------------- The Caves: As you should know by now, opportunities may pop out of nowhere. ;-) ----------------------------------------------------------------------- BUGS/SPOILERS ----------------------------------------------------------------------- None. Or at least, none that weren't present in earlier games (the "global" bugs). ----------------------------------------------------------------------- VERSION INFO ----------------------------------------------------------------------- This version of the game is 1.0. This is the first version of this Mini-Pack released on my site. At the time this version was released, version 2.0 of the main game was/is on the site.
